Job Overview

As a Dishwasher at The Lariat, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our kitchen. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are washed, sanitized, and ready for use, allowing our chefs to focus on creating culinary delights.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils

• Ensure that kitchen equipment and surfaces are kept clean and sanitized

• Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed, such as peeling and chopping vegetables

• Empty and clean trash containers regularly.Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area

• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations

• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of dishes and utensils

• Assist in the organization and storage of kitchen supplies

• Report any maintenance or repair needs for equipment promptly

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Supervisor

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher is a plus but not required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of dishes

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

• Ability to work well as part of a team

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

• Understanding of food safety and sanitation principles is a plus
